Potters Cup Weekend Celebrations delayed for a year

With Potters Resort currently closed due to new building projects to create larger venues for social distancing, the Potters Short Mat Bowls Cup Weekend has been rearranged for the 24th September 2021. The event was set to celebrate its 20th Year in 2020. All Potters Cup Weekend bookings for 2020 have now been transferred to the new date in 2021. Potters East Coast Triples and Pairs Week for 2020 had already been rearranged for Monday 3rd May 2021. If you have any questions on either break please contact Event Organiser Teresa Goldsmith. A statement on Potters website includes the following information.

Having already developed our facilities to now include 50 private Restaurant Suites as well as our brand new outdoor South Terrace area, it’s vital we continue to adapt to the new normal, to ensure we can continue to offer the very best short breaks in the UK, all year round. With that in mind, we have made the decision to pause breaks at Potters Resort following the break commencing Friday 4th September until Monday 5th October 2020. In order to adapt further, we are investing and undertaking more building projects to create larger venues for social distancing and more facilities to cater for the future new normal. We continue to be mindful of the impact this extraordinary crisis is having on all our lives. We have received many hundreds of Facebook posts, tweets and emails wishing the Resort and our team well. This has been both humbling and reassuring, and we cannot thank you enough for your best wishes and support. As a family run business that has weathered many storms in the last 100 years, we will continue to weather this one, and we look forward to welcoming you, the most wonderful guests in the world, back to Potters Resort in the months ahead.
