Teresa Goldsmith announces Norfolk Over 60's shutdown

Following the Government Guidance this afternoon by Prime Minister Boris Johnson, and Health Secretary Matt Hancock, Norfolk Over 60’s Organiser Teresa Goldsmith has announced that the fortnightly Norfolk Over 60’s Squad Days are cancelled until further notice. The new guidance said that everyone should avoid gatherings and crowded places, such as pubs, clubs and theatres. The Prime Minister stated that people over the age of 70 and those with certain health conditions should consider the advice “particularly important”. Also cancelled are the home match against Cambs on April 9th, the Eastern England Presentation Day on April 23rd, the away match against Kent Invicta on May 16th, the away match against Cambs on May 23rd and the home match against Kent Invicta on June 13th. Teresa wishes all Norfolk Over 60’s bowlers the best of health, to keep safe and hopes to see them when things start to return to normal.
