Deaf Sports tribute

Deaf Sports – tribute

Deaf Sports would like to pay a huge tribute to a fantastic gentleman, a brilliant husband and father and a wonderful sportsman and short mat bowls player. Deaf Sports had the honour of having Rob Cranston along with his two sons, Lewis and Owen, play for us during the Summer League of 2017, where he helped Deaf Sports remain in the First Division and clinched much needed victories against Thorpe Marriott and Wymondham for us. He was a true gentleman who was always happy to help out teams whenever he was needed and Deaf Sports was no exception for him. He will be hugely missed by us all as a team player and also as a formidable opponent when we played against County Council in the City League, giving each one of us a run for our money. You were respected, loved and a friend to each one of us. Rest in peace Rob.
