Watton won 6-2 at home to Shropham with Gordon Stanbridge, Eugene Gillam & Dennis Gower winning 12-8, Pam Paget, Des McQuiod & Rick Adams winning 12-11 and Doreen Paffey, Roy Dolman & Don Paffey winning 13-11. Shropham’s only win was by Terry Hewitson, Kathy Girling & Gordon Wilcox by a 9-5 margin. Hingham won 6-2 away to Thetford with Eric Frary, Jock Pollock & Jane Frary winning 12-10, John Chapman, Graham Tweed & Pauline Wilson winning 14-7 & Mary Potter, Jim Roache & Keith Thomas winning 9-8. Thetford’s Colin Piper, Mick Colledge & Peter Scarborough gained their teams two points with a 13-4 win.
