Pauline Barsby of Harling was delighted with the response to the Thetford project she is heading to launch short mat bowls in the historic Norfolk town. The first night drew in over two dozen interested people keen to try their hand at short mat bowls on the first of four nights that are planned this month. Pauline was assisted by half a dozen Harling members to help the would-be bowlers and NCSMBA President Brian Saunders was also on hand to talk about the Association and also help on the mats with tuition.
